Test Methods

1. Square Wave Current Screening Test

The shock current waveform is 2ms square waves, and the time interval between the 2m wave shock is 30s ~ 60s.

The purpose of the square wave current screening test is to remove bad products in MOV products.

2. Residual Pressure Test

2.1 Named Lightning Intellectual Pressure Test

The current waveform is 8/20 μs standard lightning waves. The current waveform and amplitude deviation shall comply with the provisions of Article 8.3.2 of GB11032 and GB/T16927.1.

2.2 Operation Impact Current Under The Residual Pressure Test

The operating wave of the current waveform is 30/60 μs. The current waveform and amplitude deviation shall comply with the provisions of Article 8.3.3 of GB11032 and GB/T16927.1.

3. Large Current Impact Tolerance Test

The current waveform is 4/10 μs, and the current waveform and amplitude deviation shall comply with the provisions of GB11032 8.5, GB/T 16927.1. The MOV test products extracted by this test shall not be used according to normal products after the test.

4. Accelerate Aging Test

The test method is performed by the provisions of GB11032 8.6.2, and 3 pieces of resistance tablets are randomly selected every quarter. During the test process, the voltage change is not greater than ± 1%, the test temperature is 115 ° C, and the time is 1000H. To effectively monitor the aging performance of all specifications of resistance tablets, the resistance of various specifications must be raised at least once a year to accelerate the aging test.

The MOV test products extracted by this test shall not be used according to normal products after the test.
